AMD Barton-core Athlon XP not using SOI process
Following its announcement about design changes in K8-core products, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) recently also clarified that its new Barton-core Athlon XP processors will not adopt SOI (silicon-on-insulator) processing technology as it previously planned.
