Doesnt seem worth it to me!
OK i cant make up my mind if the 6 Core Phenom II will give a better performance boost to make it worth while getting a 890GX.
This also begs the question if other chipsets will get bios updates to accept 6 core Phenom II such as 790GX/FX - 780a/980a etc...
It's possibly down to manufacturers choosing whether to update BIOS for it, and if the power regulation's up to it.
Mr. Soderstrom (or anyone else):
I'm trying to decide between these 3 boards, and the Read/Write performance benchmarks so heavily favor the ASUS that I'd be foolish not to pick it. Do you really think the difference is only due to BIOS upgrades, or is there a fundamental difference between them when it comes to storage interface? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
