We overclocked the Athlon64 as well. Instead of the standard 2.0 GHz at 200 MHz HyperTransport speed, we achieved 2.15 GHz. The greatest performance gain was observed in the gaming benchmarks.
AMD makes it easy for its customers to overclock the Athlon64 since all multipliers below x10.0 (for 2.0 GHz) can also be selected.
