Amazon and IBM settle lawsuit, partner up on patents
New York (NY) - Amazon and IBM have settled their patent battle and have agreed to share their patent portfolios for an undisclosed amount of money. Last October, IBM sued Amazon for allegedly infringing on five of its web shopping-related patents. Two months later, Amazon countered by saying that IBM violated five Amazon patents.
