Amazon.com tops holiday traffic report
New figures show Amazon.com maintaining its lead in the race for holiday e-commerce traffic.
An estimated 6.9 million unique visitors logged on to the company's Web site the week ending December 19, according to Internet research firm Media Metrix.
EBay, eToys, barnesandnoble.com, and Toysrus.com. all finished behind Amazon.com, which also leads the list for average weekly traffic for the entire holiday season.
