Altec Lansing releases 3D-sound headset for gamers
Altec Lansing today showed its AHS602 headset, which provides realistic 3D sound, according to a company press release. The AHS602 plunges the wearer into the middle of the action using two high-performance, 40mm neodymium drivers combined with SRS headphone technology, creating a natural audio effect.
The headset will retail for about $100 and is targeted at "serious gamers", featuring a noise-rejecting wraparound microphone for hands-free operation
