Alpine announces new GPS/DVD/TV solutions
Alpine will release a series of products ranging from a TV tuner to a DVD player and a GPS system. The prices will vary from $240 to $3200. The products will become abvailable between mid-May and mid-July.

The DVD player has a 480x234 pixel screen (VISUAL EQ), with the "pulse touch" function for controlling it. It can also read CD’s and MP3/WMA files. There is also a 50W x 4ch amplifier. And if you spend an optional $100, you get a connector for your iPod.
PKG-1000
The PKG-1000 has a 10.2" wide liquid crystal screen and is designed to be put at the disposal of the passengers in the sceond and third row. The screen has a 800x480 pixel resolution and comes with an FM radio, a connector for wireless headphones and a remote control.

With the new search system, the GPS solutions will be four times quicker (that’s what the manufacturer says). They also come with a Nabi harddrive, a video DVD player, an MD player, a 7" LCD screen, a TV tuner, and a 4ch amplifier.
