Atari has announced plans to release an updated version of Alone in the Dark for the PC and Xbox 360 console. Back in 1992, the original PC game contained a mix of zombie killing and puzzles which ushered in a new generation of horror games that brought us titles such as Resident Evil.
The game is being developed by Eden Games, a studio known for making Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed and Kya: The Lineage. Atari said the game will use real-time physics and have advanced environmental interaction, but did not provide more detail.
No final release date has been given, but Atari promised to provide more information in the coming months.
