Alienware ships Athlon 64 X2 systems
Alienware said it has begun shipping its Aurora 7500 and ALX systems with AMD’s new dual-core processor. For now, the models are available in the US only. Prices for an "entry-level" 7500 with an Athlon 64 X2 4200+ begin at about $2300 with high-end systems topping out at well above $5000. (THG)
