Alias releases Maya Personal Learning Edition 6
Alias announced today that it is releasing the next version of its popular Maya Personal Learning Edition software : a version of Maya, which provides free access to the software for non-commercial use.
Maya Personal Learning Edition was designed for graphics and animation students, industry professionals, and others interested in breaking into the world of computer graphics. The software, which is available for free download at www.alias.com/mayaple , contains almost all features found in the full commercial version of Maya Complete 6 software including new character animation technology, Adobe Photoshop software integration, and enhancements to modeling and dynamics.
Version 6 is the first release of Maya Personal Learning Edition to include mental ray software and the ability to preview vector rendering.
