Alcatel sues Microsoft
Alcatel has sued Microsoft for alleged patent infringement related to IP video in a US federal court.
Alcatel inherited the litigation as part of its $11.8 billion acquisition of Lucent, according to a Microsoft spokesperson, who also noted Alcatel filed its claims on Friday - the same day that its merger with Lucent was approved by the US government.
