AIWA's USB speakers add Qsound
AIWA's Computer Systems Division is featuring QSound technology in its new line of USB speakers.
QSound's QSurround technology produces a multi-speaker surround sound effect by creating "virtual" speakers for matrix encoded material, such as Dolby Pro Logic, or an expanded soundfield for standard stereo material.
By using the Universal Serial Bus interface, the speakers prevent distortion caused by converting the audio signal from digital to analog inside the speaker, instead of the computer. USB also provides cost-savings and true plug & play convenience.
