Airgo shipping MIMO chips to Asustek
Airgo Networks continues to win orders for its True MIMO (multi-in multi-out) chips from systems vendors such as Asustek Computer as the wireless industry is waiting for chips supporting the 802.11n draft standard, according to sources at Airgo. Asustek has begun volume shipments of its WLAN routers and WLAN cards built with Airgo’s True MIMO chips, stated the sources, noting that a number of first-tier Taiwan makers have also adopted devices made with Airgo’s MIMO chips.
