AI claims Brazil will win World Cup
Students at the American University in Dubai have written an artificial intelligence program that they say can predict the outcome of the World Cup to three decimal places.
According to Imran Fanaswala and Yashar Fasihnia, both 22, Brazil will beat Italy to win the World Cup. Their software, called Fifa Intelligence, claims to have an 83 percent accuracy and has managed to predict the winners of each game from the group stages to the final.
