Agilent says Sales will increase in 2003
Agilent Technologies, Inc., a manufacturer of electronics and chip-testing equipment, reported that its sales in Fiscal 2003 would likely grow as much as 10% due to some economic recovery in the semiconductor industry during the second half of 2002. Agilent's Chief Executive Officer, Ned Barnholt, said after meeting with analysts that he expects a modest and gradual U.S. economic recovery, with chip and chip equipment sectors growing in the second half of 2003.
