Agere gets Samsung 11b laptop design-in
WLAN chipmaker Agere Systems today announced that Samsung has chosen its WaveLAN chipset for the integrated 802.11b wireless capability in Samsung's Q-10, P-20 and P-25 laptops. Agere's announcement also said Samsung will use Agere-based Wi-Fi in its new generation of notebooks coming later this year.
