ADS brings big screen to computers
ADS technologies has released an XGA-to-TV scan converter that allows computer users to display content on big screen televisions.
TV Elite XGA provides sharp, stable TV images from non-interlaced VGA signals at resolutions up to 1024-by-768 and at vertical refresh rates up to 100MHz. Users can take advantage its 200 percent zoom and pan functions and infra-red wireless remote to instantly zoom to any of 16 areas on the TV screen.
Company officials say TV Elite XGA is designed for educational and business presentations and for computer gamers who want the realism of big screen TV with clear, flicker-free image quality. The PC- and Mac-compatible device is available at most retail outlets for an estimated price of $169.
