A-Data obtains dual-interface SD card patent
A-Data Technology paid $3.7 million to IC design house Atech Totalsolutions to obtain related USB-interface Secure Digital (SD) card patents, eyeing demand in the market for the segment. The dual interface patent that A-Data obtained will be effective for 15 years.
