Activision To Extended Its Agreement With Marvel
Activision announced that it will extended its agreement with Marvel. This will give Activision exclusive rights to the X-Men, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, and Iron Man properties through 2009.
One of the key provisions of this agreement is that it will allow Activision to develop games based on movies featuring characters from each property. Currently, Activision is working on X2: Wolverine's Revenge, which will be released in the same time frame as the new X-Men film. Perhaps the more exciting news is that games based on Iron Man and Fantastic Four are also in development. No word yet on which platforms these new titles will be developed for.
Many people are excited by the possibility of seeing a well developed game featuring Iron Man and Fantastic Four. We sure would not mind these cool titles making an appearance on the PC.
