Acer to cut its stake in BenQ, Wistron and Foxconn

Acer is scheduled to issue its stock ex-dividend on August 4 and plans to sell 100 million shares it holds each in Wistron and BenQ, and five million shares it holds in Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry) in the second half of 2005.
