Acer recalls 27,000 notebook batteries
Taipei (Taiwan) Acer has joined the long list of computer manufacturers to announce a voluntary recall of Sony made lithium-ion notebook batteries.
27,000 batteries, used in Acer’s TravelMate series notebooks, are being recalled in total ; with the potentially combustible batteries having been sold between May 2004 and November 2006, the company said in a press release. More details can be found on Share:
