Acer revamps notebook strategy
Acer said that it has revamped its 2006 strategy for its mainstream and entry-level notebook lines without adding to production costs.
In addition, chairman JT Wang stated that major desktop contract maker Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry) will be able to help fulfill Acer’s desktop PC shipment goal, with Foxconn’s well-supported supply integration.
