Abit-USI motherboard joint venture planned to be set up next month
Abit Computer has signed an agreement with Taiwan-based design and manufacturing service (DMS) supplier Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) to start up a joint venture that will acquire all of the intangible assets of Abit’s motherboard business.
The new company will be named Universal Abit Holding Company (UAHC), which the motherboard maker said is planned to be incorporated next month with operations starting in June.
