Abit KR7A RAID Motherboard
Here's another VIA KT266A-based motherboard that hasn't yet been officially announced but is posted in all of its glory over on Abit's website . The photo there is a little small but it should give you an idea of the shape of things to come. Abit's KR7A RAID supports the Athlon XP 1500+ to 1900+, Athlon 700MHz to 1.4GHz, Duron 600MHz to 950 MHz and "future Socket A Processors." It uses the VIA KT266A/VIA VT8233 chipset and has four 184-pin DIMM sockets to support up to 4 GB PC1600/PC2100 DDR SDRAM. Four channels of Bus Master IDE Ports supporting up to 8 Ultra DMA 33/66/100/133( RAID 0 /1/0+1) are on board along with one AGP slot and six PCI slots. And to support Ultra DMA 100/RAID, it includes a High Point HPT372 IDE Controller and Ultra DMA 133MB/sec data transfer rate. Consider this a preview.
