ABIT Introduces IC7-G Gigasystem Mainboard

ABIT has introduces its long awaited offering for the Intel 875 chipset. The IC7-G, according to ABIT is engineered to meld high-performance workstation stability and power.
ABIT gives users a chance to experience a 1 Gig FSB and 1 Gig DDR memory overclock thanks to advanced engineering. Designed with the enthusiast in mind, the IC7-G has the features that users demand for GigaOverclocking.

The IC7-G comes complete with ABIT Serillel2, which has been improved to support Hot-Plug functionality and ATAPI Devices, such as CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, allowing users to experience the advantages of cool, clean cases with all of their IDE devices. With Serillel2 and the SATA 150 RAID 0/1 controller by Silicon Image, ABIT allows users to connect up to 8 Hard Disks at once. The IC7-G includes on board Intel PRO/1000 CT Desktop Connection Gigabit LAN and optical SPDIF In/Out with 6 channel audio.
The IC7-G also includes an onboard 4-phase power solution, is ready for the next generation of CPUs that require more power. Other 875 boards use only 3 or even 2 phases of power and must be considered inadequately powered for both serious overclocking and future generations of CPUs.
