A Key Ring You can Plug in, Turn On and Go
At the 2003 Consumer Electronics Show last month in Las Vegas, Philips Electronics unveiled its new Key Rings products, devices that are lipstick-sized and shaped digital audio and photo units. These handy little devices plug into the USB port of a computer and automatically export digital audio and photo images onto the Key Ring device for carrying with you. An update on these hot new products is expected from Philips this week. A search on Philips' Web site indicated the product names and numbers: Philips KEY007 - Portable Digital Camera Key Ring; and Philips KEY006 - Portable Audio Key Ring. The products are reported to range from $99 to $149 US, with availability beginning in May of this year. The Portable Audio Key Ring is being marketed to those who want to carry a limited number of songs with them that can be changed frequently, while the Portable Digital Camera Key Ring in its 64-MB model can store up to 250 digital photos at a resolution of 1.3 megapixels.
