Second Zune to debut with 4 GB and 8 GB
Redmond (WA) - Information about Microsoft’s Zune has been trickling in today, mostly in the form of rumors. A first illustration and first specifications of the new player have been published on the website of the FCC website today.
According to the filing, the Flash Zune will debut in a 4 GB and an 8 GB configuration. The sketch published indicates that the new player will be substantially more compact than the hard drive-based Zune, but it will keep the general layout of the device consisting of a main navigation area in the shape of a scroll-wheel as well as dedicated play, pause and back buttons.
Further details of the player where withheld by the FCC on request by Microsoft.
