Vodafone Says Xperia Ray is 'Coming Soon'
Vodafone has snagged the recently announced Xperia Ray.
Vodafone has joined O2 and 3UK in their plans to sell the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray. The company this morning debuted a 'coming soon' splash page for the Android 2.3 device.
Back in July, O2 and 3UK revealed that they will also be carrying the newly-announced Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, along with retailer Carphone Warehouse. Carphone Warehouse says it will start shipping the device next month, while O2 and 3UK will not start selling the phone until September. Unfortunately, Vodafone didn't give any additional information when it comes to pricing and actual release dates, but we'd imagine the company might follow O2 and 3UK's lead on this one.
Announced at the end of June, the Xperia Ray boasts a 3.3-inch display, a 1GHz CPU, Sony's Mobile Bravia Engine, an 8-megapixel camera, the ability to shoot video in 720p, Android 2.3, Bluetooth, support for MicroUSB, USB tethering, WiFi and up to 32GB of storage via microSD (4GB included). It's aimed at the style-conscious shopper that's looking for a sleek and sexy phone.

They called their phone Ray?
So what apart from the styling is the difference between this and the Experia Arc? Both seem to be available for free on £20 a month contracts?
