Three Confirms it Will Carry Xperia Ray
UK carrier Three has confirmed that it will carry the just announced Sony Xperia Ray.
Yesterday, Sony Ericsson unveiled the Xperia Ray, a sleek smartphone aimed at those with a desire for a good-looking, well designed device. Available in black, gold, white and pink, the Ray boasts a 3.3-inch display, a 1GHz CPU, Sony's Mobile Bravia Engine, Android 2.3, Bluetooth, support for MicroUSB, USB tethering, WiFi and up to 32GB of storage via microSD (4GB included). Sony said yesterday that the device would be available globally "in selected markets, including Japan, from Q3 2011" and Three UK has since confirmed that the UK will be one of those markets.
Though Three was able to confirm that it will carry the device, the company didn't elaborate on a release date, so Sony's 'Q3' period is still the best we've got. However, the network did release a video of an Xperia Ray demo to tide us over until it decides on a specific date (or decides to tell us what its already decided). Check it out below!
