Xperia Pro Pushed to Late July, Still Costs £350
Back in early June, word got out that the Xperia Pro would be launching this month. Unfortunately, it seems that’s no longer the case, as the device has been delayed.
Announced at Mobile World Congress along with the Xperia Play, the Xperia Pro was pretty much overlooked because, well, it was announced along with the Xperia Play. How can any phone contend with the much anticipated PlayStation Phone? Fast forward a few months, the Xperia Play is available on multiple networks around the world, but it's more understated companion is not yet in stores.
The Xperia Pro, with its 3.7-inch 854x480 display, was supposed to be launching this month. However, things have now been delayed until July. Unwired Review reports the handset has been pushed to ‘late July’ and is now available for preorder direct from Sony Ericsson for the £349.99 SIM-free price.

Running on Andrid 2.3 (aka Gingerbread), the Xperia Pro boasts the aforementioned 3.7-inch 854x480 touchscreen display, a 1Ghz Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of onboard storage, HDMI-out, an 8 mega-pixel camera, and the Sony Bravia Graphics Engine. However, the most important feature of the Pro is that is boasts a full, slide out QWERTY keyboard. Snazzy!
