VIDEO: Sneak Peek at Win 7 Family Guy Show
What can we expect from Seth and the Microsoft crew? Stewie tweeting, that's what.
Whether you hate love or really hate hate, Microsoft and FOX One's announcement that the two will collaborate on a 30-minute segment, called Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show, is 100 percent true.
Now that we've come to terms with it, what do we know so far? The segment is scheduled to air on November 8. We also know that there will be no commercials, just half an hour of comedy created by Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein (the voice of Lois) and Windows advertising agencies Universal McCann and Crispin, Porter + Bogusky. However, if this sneak peek is anything to go by, it's going to be, uhm, not very interesting. Check it out and let us know what you think.

This is either going to be extremely funny or an epic fail.
I'm going with the later because there's no way in hell the Family Guy team won't take a pop at Microsoft, unless they can carefully make digs at Vista, ME and Office works as evidence why 7 is so good.
There is a lot of potential material to work with - digging at old versions of Windows, digging at Apple, endless stabs at Ballmer - but it comes down to whether or not MS let them do it.
Microsoft, and Windows specifically, is ingrained into modern culture it's a prime target for MacFarlane and co but how can you praise a product when your job is ripping on it?
I'd like to think though that they wouldn't have taken on the job if they didn't think it could work - it's mildly encouraging to see in that clip they were able to write a Family Guy joke out of listing some Windows 7 features (it was a weak joke but a Family Guy one nonetheless).
