Wii Now Selling for Under £100 in Several Stores
Despite the new price of £129 that was announced earlier this month, you can now get the Wii for less than a hundred pounds at several major retailers.
Around the time Wii 2/HD/Project Café rumors started doing the rounds, reports of a Wii price cut started to circulate too. Of course, this only exacerbated the Wii 2 chatter, and sure enough, Nintendo confirmed that it would be launching a successor to the Wii next year.

However, that doesn't change the fact that there are still quite a few current generation Wiis hanging out in stock rooms and on shelves. Earlier this month, Nintendo announced a price cut that would knock the US price of the Wii down to $150 and the UK price to £129 -- reductions of $50 and £50, respectively. Still, it seems several retailers have gone even further and are offering bundles for less than £100.
CVG reports that GAME, Gamestation and Asda are selling a new Mario Kart bundle (and the existing Wii Sports Resort bundle) for just £99.99. While not quite as cheap, HMV has also undercut Nintendo’s recommended £129 price tag and is selling the Wii for £115. Others have placed a £120 tag on the console.

Amazon were doing this about a month or so back but I'm not sure if anyone else had followed suit. Glad to see it's taking hold.
I would imagine demand has somewhat tailed off now as almost everyone who wants one already has one...
