Samsung: White Galaxy S2 Coming September 1
If you're the kind of person that prefers to purchase gadgets in white, then you'll be pleased to know that a white version of the Galaxy S2 is coming to the UK very soon.
Samsung has just announced that the white Galaxy S2 will launch in time for students to engage in some retail therapy to numb the pain of a new term. Come September 1, you'll be able to get the same 4.3 inches of smartphone goodness that's been available for a few of months, but with a white exterior. UK retailer Clove first reported on the white S2's impending launch earlier this week. However, Clove said the device would be available from August 15. It's not yet clear if the retailer is releasing the phone earlier, or if it will push this date back to match up with Samsung.
In case anyone has forgotten, the Galaxy S2 boasts a dual-core 1.2Ghz CPU, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Gorilla Glass display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of flash storage (up to 32GB via MicroSD), an 8-megapixel camera capable of recording full HD, a 2-megapixel front-facing affair for video chat, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, WiFi, and NFC support.

Samsung have an iminent lawsuite pending from Apple for making the Samsung galaxy S2 white. Apple say it's because the Galaxy S2 white is the same colour as the white iPhone! It's crazy to sue people for using a colour, especially white. what next? will they be trying to sue the snow!
