Warpia Easy Dock Turns Laptops into PCs
The Warpia Easy Dock mounts a laptop in a desktop environment using a wireless connection.
Monday Source R&D said that the Warpia Easy Dock is now available for purchase online at Amazon.com and Warpia's website. This device allows users to connect their laptops, netbooks, and Macbooks to a traditional desktop configuration--mouse, keyboard, speakers, and LCD panel--using a high-quality wireless transmission.
On the graphics front, the Warpia Easy Dock supports resolutions up to 1400 x 1050 or 1440 x 900 (wide), and streams HD video up to 720p and 32-bit True Color depth. As for the audio, it relays 48 KHz 16-bit stereo. All this is transmitted through a USB-based dongle that's instantly recognized by Windows XP SP3 to Windows 7, Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard. An additional receiver plugs into your mouse, speakers, keyboard and LCD panel, relaying the transmission to the peripherals.
"The Easy Dock is the ideal solution for laptop lovers who value portability but long for a more comfortable computing experience at home," said Marc Levaggi, VP of Marketing for Source R&D. "It enables you to work or surf the web without a mess of cables on your desk and without sacrificing visual or audio quality."
Warpia Easy Dock doesn't come cheap, costing a meaty $149.99. While available online at Amazon and the Warpia website, the device can also be found at BestBuy.com, Frys Electronics, Microcenter, and more.

Wow...two out of the first two comments are spams...good work tomshardware!
It can't be difficult to have someone check the comments pages occasionally, or like I mentioned before, ban an account automatically if a certain number of matching words are detected in a single post. Anandtech aren't immune either but they seem a bit more proactive about this.
