Taiwanese chipset designers have revised their product roadmaps to respond to Intel's recent specification changes in its upcoming Springdale chipsets. Judging from the new timetables, VIA Technologies is likely to be the first company to release an 800MHz FSB (front-side bus) chipset, leading Intel by one quarter.
