Transcend launches 32 GB Compact Flash memory card
Chicago (IL) – Transcend has updated its Compact Flash portfolio with a 32 GB 133x card.
32 GB CF II cards are still somewhat new to the market and have been a rare sights o far. To our knowledge, A-Data and Axiom have been the only manufacturers offering this capacity in the U.S. so far, but Transcend is the first to offer a 133x speed model in this segment. The manufacturer claims that the device will reach read speeds of 45 MB/s and write speeds of 16 MB/s.
There was no information about the price, but we expect the Transcend 32 GB card to closely match its rivals, which are currently selling their cards for prices between $200 and $300.
