Already test producing wafers on 45nm with acceptable results, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) will now begin working with Freescale Semiconductor on 32nm development, according to Freescale. Freescale indicated that the have already started developing 45nm designs, though it did not say whether the company will place orders using TSMC's 45nm lithography production process.
