Toys 4 Big Boys Show Preview
The 6th annual Toys 4 Big Boys convention is hitting the RDS arena in Dublin this weekend and, as always, we at Tom’s Hardware UK & Ireland are willing to sacrifice our valuable time to go and see what all the fuss is about.
The event is Ireland’s most successful ’shiny stuff’ show and everyone here is getting all excited, because what could be more fun than fast cars, toys that you can’t afford and, as much as I hate to degrade my own gender, a fashion show full of hot (and maybe scantily clad but don’t quote me on that) chicks ?
The convention promises many varied attractions, ranging from consumer electronics to automotive, such as the Motoring pavilion. This yummy car show happens to be one of the most popular features at the show and this year is no exception. It promises us a look at some of the sexiest cars around, including the brand new Lotus 211, Exige & Europa, as well as the Toyota F1 simulator and supercars including the Dodge Viper SRT10, Ford GT40, BMW M3 and the Ferarri 599.
You can also take a peek at The Lad’s Pad, which is a sort of T.V. Set apartment interior, kitted out with the all the great gadgets and toys you or I could never afford.
Adrenaline junkies should all pay a visit to the White Collar Boxing ring. This is the fastest growing corporate contact sport in the world, originating in New York in 1988. See what corporate Ireland gets up to in its spare time with pro fighters, amateur fighters and female bouts all taking place each day of the show this year.
And you might be asking where those women we promised you are ? You can find your daily dose of eye-candy gracing the Bscene Runway. Every day at Toys 4 Big Boys there will be a fashion show brought to you by Bscene.
The Fashion Shows will run across all three days of Toys 4 Big Boys with 3 shows per day where the best in fashion & music is fused and models & dancers strutt their stuff on the catwalk, showing current trends and new looks from the new season collections.
Other features of the show include,
Mattie Griffin Motorbike stunt show, Ladies Pamper Zone, Spine Ramp, Tactical Assault Demos – run by HRTA, Rodeo Bull, Scuba & Snorkeling Dive Pool, Urban Paintball Shooting Range, Interactive Archery Range, Irish Ferarri Drivers Challenge, Goalstriker, Golf Swing pro simulator – sponsored by The Pensions Board, RTE New media promoting digital (DAB) radio, Aeronautical & Adventure Sports,
Opening times are as follows :
Nov. 9th 2pm-9pm
Nov. 10th 10am-7pm
Nov. 11th 10am-7pm
Tickets are €16.00 for adults, €10.00 for kids, €8.00 for OAPs and €45.00 for families. However, there is a 20 percent discount for buying online.
For those of you who can make it to the RDS, we’ll see you there ! For those of you who can’t, we’ll do our best to bring the show to you... Although, I think photographing the models is frowned upon... Or we could just be a tad distracted. Either way...
