T-Mobile sell unlocked and untethered iPhone
Another day, another article about the iPhone. We know, we know but if we didn’t write them you ask us why you weren’t told. . .
German service provider T-Mobile has been allowing customers to buy contract-free iPhones. Fair enough it costs three times as much, but you can still get it without being chained to them for two years.
The announcement came after Vodafone brought the company to court because of the phone’s exclusive tie-up with the iPhone in Germany.
T-mobile are also offering customers the option of removing the sim lock feature on the phone, allowing customers to use the phone on any network. They’re even offering this service to anyone who has previously purchased a handset.
See ? Another mildly interesting story about the iPhone.
