T-Mobile Announces New £10 Pay As You Go Options
Plenty of people don’t want to sign a mobile phone contract. While they often mean subsidised contracts, some just aren’t ready to commit to a year or two with the same provider or prefer the freedom offered by a pay-as-you-go tariff.
T-Mobile is targeting this type of customer with the launch of three new PAYG options, each catering to a different type of mobile phone user. Each of the new tariffs cost £10 with the first offering unlimited texts for the next month (plus 100 free texts with your first top up to get you started) for a tenner. The Talk plan offers 100 minutes of talk per month, plus 25 extra minutes with your first top up, while the third, an international plan, offers 60 minutes of international calls from the UK, plus cheap international rates.
Of course, it’s rare that a customer’s mobile phone usage would be covered by just one of these tariffs alone. To that end, customers purchasing these new plans can supplement them with other offers, known as ‘boosters.’ Boosters cover everything from minutes to data and include offers like £20 for six months of internet access (BlackBerry users can get six months of internet, BlackBerry Mail and BBM for the same price) or £5 for 300 texts to use over five days.
