Certainly the simplest, and arguably the single most usable depending on how often you sit on your phone, of all the applications we’ll tackle throughout this article is Autolock, an application for automatically locking your phone after a certain number of seconds. You’d think the phone would have that feature built in. Wouldn’t you just?
There’s precious little else to say about it, except that you can set the duration of inactivity before the keys lock... and that you can download it here. Like everything else listed, it’s good and free, so there’s no reason not to download it. It also starts up when your phone boots, so you won’t need to worry about remembering to activate it.

I looks like you completely forgot Mobipocket Reader (www.mobipocket.com). It supports all Symbian phones, is pretty nice and it is the only reader that will give you access to all the real ebooks: Da Cinci Code, Michael Connelly, Stephen King, Michael Crichton ...
(to be fair, I must mention that I am CEO of Mobipocket.com, but check your research, Mobipocket is the #1 mobile reader out there)
Another handy app just released is TextQuick from http://www.mind-flip.com/. It speeds up text messaging by listing your contacts by popularity, really suprising that this isn't in the default S60 UI.
I have just installed the TextQuick app also - really make my life so much easier. Just goes to show that the simplest ideas are often the best. This should defo be on your list Marc.
