Sony Ericsson Ray Lands on UK Networks
The Xperia Ray has landed, though not across all networks.
Throughout August, we've seen Vodafone, O2 and 3UK all confirm their intentions to carry the recently announced Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray. No one but O2 specified that the handset would arrive in September (3UK is sticking to 'Q3' and Vodafone to 'Coming Soon'), and today the company made good on its promise, with 3G.co.uk reporting that the phone is now available on contract with O2. The handset is also available contract free from independent retailers such as Clove and Play.com
Available in black, gold, white and pink, the Ray boasts a 3.3-inch display, a 1GHz CPU, Sony's Mobile Bravia Engine, Android 2.3, Bluetooth, support for MicroUSB, USB tethering, WiFi and up to 32GB of storage via microSD (4GB included). Pricewise you're looking at roughly £300 if you want off-contract, or free if you're willing to get contractual with O2.
We'll let you know when 3Uk and Vodafone decide to join the party. Orange customers will also be pleased to note that their provider has just recently expressed its commitment to carrying the device, though it didn't say when. Stay tuned!

Im not sure what happened but I just can not get excited about any Sony products these days. Not just the phones either, I feel this way about the TVs, sounds systems pretty much everything. I used to love Sony so much as well during the 80s, 90s even early 00s. Everything from camp Sony just seems so meh these days.
Sony & Sony Ericson has a good OEM reputation,so I can't see why it won't be accepted. In fact I think that sony ericson will do good in their sales.
