Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray to Hit O2 in September
O2 customers looking to buy the new Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray will have to wait a little bit longer than those buying from Carphone Warehouse or Play.com
O2 has revealed that it too will be carrying the newly-announced Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, though not as soon as other retailers, it seems. TechRadar reports that though both Play.com and Carphone Warehouse say they will start shipping the device next month, O2 is going a similar route to 3UK and will not start selling the phone until September.
Announced at the end of June, the Xperia Ray boasts a 3.3-inch display, a 1GHz CPU, Sony's Mobile Bravia Engine, an 8-megapixel camera, the ability to shoot video in 720p, Android 2.3, Bluetooth, support for MicroUSB, USB tethering, WiFi and up to 32GB of storage via microSD (4GB included). It's aimed at the style-conscious shopper that's looking for a sleek and sexy phone.
Sadly, though they can't seem to agree on a release date, retailers and carriers are all keeping schtum on pricing, so you'll have to wait a bit longer on that front.
