Sir Paul McCartney has announced that music by the Beatles could be online as soon as next year.
Although all four members’ solo music is available to buy online there have been several problems with regard to releasing the bands music online.
The Beatles’ company, Apple Corps, has only recently settled a lawsuit with Apple Inc, the manufacturer of iPods, and more importantly, iTunes. The court settlement ended all kinds of problems between the two companies with the issue of the Apple name being just one.
The Beatles are one of the few bands who’s music is not available from online stores, such as iTunes. McCartney told American website, Billboard.com, that it won’t be long before we can purchase the fab four’s hits online.
