Prime Minister Gordon Brown to appear in The Simpsons
If rumours turn out to be true, Gordon Brown could be join the ranks of celebrity guests that have starred on The Simpsons.
Yeardley Smith, who lends her voice to the character of Lisa Simpson, apparently leaked the info about the plans to write Brown into a script.
It is unclear about whether or not Mr Brown is going to accept but the series have allegedly said that even if Brown decides not to accept the offer they will go ahead with the episode using an impersonator.
Former PM Tony Blair starred on the show in an episode in 2003 where he welcomed the Simpsons family to Britain. Apparently Blair was a lot of fun to have on the show, although he recorded the script in secret on Downing St.
