There is little we know about networking standards will dominate the future high definition home, even if CES taught us that it won’t be Wi-Fi. However, Ethernet, Firewire and Coax groups have begun attracting members to help their idea succeed. The Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA) today said that it has convinced Siemens and Home and Office Communication Devices to join its organization "to help drive adoption of coax as the Delivery medium for networking of home digital entertainment."
Siemens apparently favors MoCA as solution for its IPTV-based entertainment products, while Home and Office Communication Devices plans to equip its DSL products with Coax technology.
