SiS to make DDR and DDR2 modules

Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) confirmed a report that it has established a module division to produce DDR and DDR2 DRAM modules for desktop PCs and notebooks. Parent company United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) will be able to offer SiS sufficient supply of raw materials, packaging and testing support, SiS noted.
