Lately electronics companies have been really into projecting a greener image so it’s no surprise to hear that Sharp, Toshiba and Panasonic have joined forces to co-found an electronics recycling company.
Unfortunately it’s only the US that will benefit from Electronic Manufacturers Recycling Management Company or MRM, which endeavours to provide a recycling facility to local and state governments. Aside from this, MRM has already signed agreements with Hitachi Electronics, JVC, Mitsubishi, Philips, Pioneer, Sanyo and Syntax-Brillian.
The companies first recycling program has already kicked off in Minnesota with programs for other states scheduled to start later on in the year.
