Sandisk set to launch clip-on MP3 player
New York (NY) - Sandisk’s latest addition to its Sansa line of MP3 players is the Clip, a miniature device designed to rival Apple’s iPod Shuffle.
The Sansa Clip will be available in 1 GB and 2 GB capacities, and will carry an FM radio, voice recorder, and a basic OLED display.
The Sansa brand has gained mass appeal, landing Sandisk into the #2 spot of top selling MP3 players, behind Apple’s iPod.
The Sansa Clip will be available September 1. The 1 GB unit is set to retail for $40, with the 2 GB model at $60. The player will come in blue, pink, and black.
