The tight NAND flash supply may be easing, as evident in Samsung Electronics’ recent softening attitude over quotations and the ramping up of supply from Hynix Semiconductor, according to sources at memory module makers in Taiwan. Samsung, which recently was quoting its NAND flash contract price higher than average, is said to have lowered its final quotes to a majority of its customers, the sources said.
